Golf Fundraising Event Goes Well
2012 Palace Golf Day
The Palace Group annual golf fundraiser delivered on its promise. Dubbed "The Event" for this was hugely supported by several companies and brands for the first time in its three year history, it was attended by more than the target of sixty (60) players who descended on the prestigious Houghton golf course with one aim, to play and have some fun. Golf Guys working with Palace Group managed to pull off an event that had to deliver on its promise.
MTN Foundation, a lead co-tittle sponsor, and several other key sponsors, were in attendance for this event, held in support of the Alexander Child Care and Support Centre (ACCSC), an NPO that looks after the welfare of orphaned and vulnerable children (above 300 children benefit from the after care feeding scheme).
Palace Group has for the past two years been active in support of this centre, going as far as providing funding for the set up costs of a bakery business, that was registered in 2012 and is currently operational from Alexandra.
A big thank you to all our sponsors on this event. We are already planning for the 2013 edition, that promises to be bigger and better.
