Corporate Social Investment
Our empowerment projects are implemented within the Strategic Communications Division. As per our policy, we remain focused and committed to the following areas:
The empowerment of women and children in rural areas and other locations where the need is great hence our flagship project, Palace Super Falcons Academy
The development of business skills and enterprises directly benefitting women and children especially within the areas within which we operate
Improving our employee's communities by supporting and participating in volunteerism programmes
Investing in and further promoting proper use of energy through innovative initiatives in schools to support learning and understanding of the subject amongst learners
We also direct our time and financial resources to the support of and advancement of development of internal and external climate change mitigation and risk management projects
In the recent past, our customers, business associates have played a role in our support of the above focus areas. This has been through an annual fund-raising event, the Palace Group Golf Event. A highlight of these projects is found in the April issue of Palace Herald. In the last five years, our expenditure against returns in terms of the benefits the communities derive from our programmes has been remarkably low especially through collaborations with sponsors, partners and our staff.
We don't accept unsolicited proposals as part of policy. We remain committed in our commitment to support the climate change agenda, young girls and women and sustainable income generating projects in communities we are active in.
Speak to us on: communications@palacegroup.co.za if you are interested in partnering with us in an ongoing and growing income generating project. All due Palace Group policy processes are adhered to for evaluation and assessment of support.
